Shipping & Handling
Destinations
Our products can be shipped to all countries around the world except for those products with restrictions or impossible to be shipped to certain destinations. If your order is impossible to be shipped, we will contact you.
Please enter your detailed address in English which can make it easier for the shipping company to read and handle your parcel.
Shipping Costs
The shipping cost on our products vary with the type, location, shipping method, and warehouse you selected. You can view the shipping cost on the description page for each product and in the checkout step.
1. Make sure to select the right country of destination in the “Country/Region” field in the middle section of each page;
2. Choose a shipping method;
3. An estimate of the shipping cost will be shown on the page.
Duties & Taxes
Most products are subject to the payment of import duties (e.g. in the U.S.) or other duties, and other charges including value-added tax (VAT) or other taxes. If these are applicable, they will be levied and determined when the shipment is processed by the applicable customs agency in your country/area. Please check the import policies in your country/area to understand and ascertain the applicability of and your liability for any such duties or taxes on the products you purchase from us.
On July 1, 2021, new value-added tax (VAT) rules on e-commerce sales came into effect in the 27 countries of the European Union (EU), which affects the sales of goods to EU consumers through online stores. An Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) number shall be provided to the carrier for orders on which MiOT-STORE has collected VAT and to be shipped to the EU from non-EU countries/areas. The 27 countries within the EU include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
All duties and taxes applicable in other countries/areas, if any, are not included in the purchase price of your order or transaction. If they apply and are levied, then you rather than us, the manufacturer or the supplier shall be solely and exclusively liable, and you shall directly pay them to your government or to the designed courier service company on delivery of your items. We (or the manufacturer, or the supplier) shall not be liable for payment of the aforesaid duties, charges and taxes.
We shall not be liable for any delay in shipping or customs clearance since such delay is out of our control.
Delivery Time
The total delivery time is the sum of the lead time and the shipping time.
Lead time = the period between your order and shipment of the ordered products. (It usually lasts for 1-5 days, shown on the product description page after the product name.);
Shipping time = the period between shipment and delivery of your order. (It usually requires about 15-20 business days dependant on the shipping method.).
Insurance
You shall be solely and exclusively liable for all risks of loss and damage of your purchased product(s) during the transportation between you and us. Please note that, under applicable laws and/or international treaties, the liability of the carrier, shipper, shipping agent and/or other relevant parties for any loss of or damage to product(s) handled by them may be excluded, recovered or limited. Therefore, for all shipments, we recommend that you purchase appropriate, relevant and adequate insurance to cover against the risk of loss and damage during transportation. Please contact us to inquire about available insurance rates for your order or transaction.All items are carefully packed for the purpose of export and they are generally delivered in customary one-way standard export package. (In any exceptional cases, the package will be at our cost, which shall be calculated on the basis of the verifiable net cost.) However, should items become damaged or lost in transit to you, we shall not be responsible or liable therefore.
Items Damaged in Transit
If an item is found visibly damaged on receipt, we kindly ask you to support us by accepting the parcel and contacting us within 7 working days, as well as providing us with the evidence as following:
1. Photos of the front and back sides of the packaging box;
2. A photo, video or screenshot of the defective item;
3. A photo, video or screenshot of the defective item or the defective part of the parcel.
Our sales manager will communicate with you for further information.
Service and Repair Policies in Warranty Period
If any of the items you have purchased from us is found defective within 1 year from receipt, you are entitled to a repair under warranty. Please kindly provide us with evidence as below: photos and videos of the defective item. After providing such information to the relevant sales manager and the problem is acknowledged, you can send the items back to us for a repair
Before sending the item back, please note: Keep in mind that it's your responsibility to record and erase all information (e.g. texts, images, ringtones and contacts, etc.) from the phone or other items you return to us. MiOT Store shall not be responsible for any personal information left in the phone or such other item and cannot guarantee that the personal information left in the phone or such other items will not be erased. The repair policy is detailed in the table below.
